Welcome to Engaging, Online Literature Classes

Dear Homeschool Families,

If you’re looking for a way to bring stories to life, spark great conversations, and build your child’s confidence in reading and writing — you’re in the right place!I teach live online literature classes for homeschool students at three levels:
📘 Grades 4–6
📗 Grades 5–8
📙 Grades 7–9

Each course is designed to meet students where they are — with books they’ll love, discussions that make them think, and writing assignments that help them grow.

📚 Why Literature Class Matters

We read books students actually enjoy.
No dry or boring “must-reads” here! I select novels that are fun, exciting, and full of meaning — stories that kids look forward to reading each week.
We think deeply — together.
Books come alive in group discussions. When students share ideas and listen to their peers, they start to see the story — and themselves — in new ways. This kind of conversation builds confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking.
We write with purpose.
In our class, the stories we read become springboards for meaningful writing.
From creative responses to analytical essays, students practice expressing their ideas with clarity and depth — and they actually enjoy it!
We create community.
Even shy students feel seen and heard in our classes. There’s laughter, discovery, and encouragement in every session.
